Remembrance

Today is, of course, the 8th anniversary of the attacks on America by Islamist fundamentalist radicals. It was disturbing to me to learn that flags were flown at half mast for the death of Senator Kennedy (which I do not in any way mean to disparage) but were flown at full mast today. I can't believe that the collective memory of this country is so short. I am disheartened and really do not know what to add to that.

  1. We have a President more concerned with appeasing foreigners, than promoting liberty and sacrifice. Unfortunately we have a government working against the will of a free people.

We are an oligarchy of political elite controlled by special interest, not a constitutional republic governed by the people.

  2. I agree but I think that the winds of change are blowing.

  3. I hope so. It can't happen soon enough.

I am afraid that someone with the right motives will make the mistake of acting out in a violent manner that allows the government to further erode our freedoms. This happened in Nazi Germany and we saw the results there. It allowed Hitler to consolidate power and scapegoat and entire race of folks, Jews, to be the culprit for all of societies woes.

The Jews of today are the right wing freedom lovers. Labeled by our President and House Majority Leader as astroturfers, clinging to their religion and guns. These progressive Democrats are trying to provoke a confrontation.

We should be more afraid of Congress than the right wing freedom lovers.
